Spring!
The new season brings new things. In this case, it brings a new focus to the BOD and Covenants Committee on covenants and enforcement. Many of the basic covenants are being ignored. The BOD and the new volunteers wish to let the residents of Cobblestone Ridge that the standards that everyone expects are going to be upheld. The following is a list of some of the more chronic and more recently violated covenants.
Trashcans should be put on the curb no earlier than the evening before collection day and brought in the evening of collection day. Trashcans should be stored out of plain view of the street.
Parking. Guests of homeowners are allowed to park for short periods on the street. Overnight parking and/or long term parking on the street is prohibited. Special permission from the BOD/Covenants Committee is required for situations with extraordinary circumstances. Parking on the street could prevent emergency vehicles from getting to a house. Also, it causes driving hazards for people driving through the street. Parking on the sidewalks and grass in Cobblestone Ridge is prohibited. It is damaging both to the sidewalk and the grass. Chronic offenders will be issued covenant violations.
Yard Maintenance. Obvious long term neglect of yard maintenance will cause covenants violation to be issued to the homeowner. A neat and maintained appearance is required per the covenants.
All residents are reminded that boats, trailers, and recreational vehicles are to be kept either in the garage or in the back yard behind the privacy fence. All watercraft are allowed to be parked in the driveway for short periods when in use by the homeowner. Under no circumstances are they allowed to be parked in the street or for long periods in the driveway.
